Mattress Topper

Firm Mattress toppers give you that extra comfort and support that one needs if you do not want to invest in a new mattress all together. But everything will get a long life only if you take good care of it. So your topper also needs proper cleaning and maintenance. You need to regularly give it a spot and superficial cleaning. Other than that if at all you spill a colored liquid or maybe juice, wine it can cause a horrible looking stain. You will need to wash it properly if it is a memory foam topper. You need to first do a proper spot cleaning which would involve a vacuum cleaning, application of detergent. After that we have given you some steps which you could follow – 

Wash your firm mattress topper with water – You will need to keep the firm mattress topper on a smooth and clean surface without any bumps underneath. Completely wash it out with cold water and make sure all detergent is completely removed.

Drain and dry the firm mattress topper – You will need to squeeze out all the water. However, for that please do not tumble dry or squeeze it. You can roll the topper on the inside and press it slightly to remove out any remaining water. Once that is done you need to dry it thoroughly.

Do not use hydrogen peroxide directly on the surface of the topper. Also while drying the topper, make sure that you do not put it out in direct sunlight. It would spoil the texture. Also do not use hot water.
